One exhibition was organized successfully at :
a) Rotery Binani Sabhagar,Shopping Centre Kota. 10 weavers participated in the exhibition. This exhibition was organized from 12/12/2010 to 20/12/2010. Total sale generated during the exhibition was Rs. 14,48,980/-
Apart from above weavers of Kangra Cluster were also participated in the following Special Handloom Expo:-
a) Exhibition Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh. 2 weavers participated in this Special Handloom Expo. The participation was from 12/12/2010 to 26/12/2010.
b) Police Ground, Dharamshala Distt. Kangra (H.P.). 2 weavers participated in this Special Handloom Expo. The participation was from 19/01/2010 to 02/02/2010.

Two Buyer Seller Meets were successfully organized at :
a) Sood Bhawan, Khoo Bazar, Paprola Distt. Kangra (H.P,) 9 weavers participated in this meet. The participation was from 08/02/2011 to 17/02/2011. Total order booked for handloom products is Rs. 1,38, 730/-.
b) Kotwali Bazar, Opposite Taxi Stand, Dharamshala Distt. Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. 5 weavers participated in this meet. The participation was from 13/03/2011 to 15/03/2011. Total order booked for handloom products is Rs. 40,000/-

Awareness & exposure visit |
01 |
One awareness and exposure visit was successfully organized to Chamoli District of Uttrakhand, 14 weavers participated in the visit. This visit was conducted from 22/03/2011 to 27/03/2011.The weavers were thus provided an opportunity to visit the premises/production units of successful handloom societies and to understand their production techniques. Weavers also had interaction with the leaders of these successful societies who shared their experiences, and got necessary tips for success in handloom sector from them. |
