Exhibitions
Assistance of Rs. 4.00 lakh over a period of three years for holding/participating - 02 exhibitions/fairs to be shared in the ratio of 75:25 between Central Govt. and the State/Implementing Agency/beneficiaries.
Outcome (2010-11)
One exhibition was organized successfully at:
a) Jabalpur Exhibition: Jabalpur exhibition was organised at the Arihant Palace, Russel Chowk, Jabalpur (M.P.) 7 weavers participated in the exhibition. This exhibition was organized from 10/12/2010 to 19/12/2009. Total sale generated during the exhibition was Rs. 7,76,255/-.
Rampur-Ani Cluster Weavers participated in the following :
a) Jhansi Exhibition: Jhansi Exhibition Handloom Exhibition was organised at Shree Lakshmi Vayayam Mandir, Gate No. 2, khande Rao Gate, Jhansi. 7 weavers participated in this Exhibition. The participation was from 04/01/2011 to 11/01/2011.Total sale generated was Rs. 8,03,690/-.
b) Chandigarh Special Handloom Expo: Special Handloom Expo was organised at Exhibition Ground, Sector-34, Chandigarh. 2 weavers participated in this Special Handloom Expo. The participation was from 12/12/2010 to 26/12/2010.
